Network for Ecology exists to bring people together to help all life flourish.
We are building a global network of businesses, nonprofits, and individuals united by care for our living world—from rainforests, mountains, rivers, and coral reefs to the species and communities that call them home.
Through storytelling, networking, and meaningful connections, we aim to mobilize support, skills, and resources for nonprofit-led work—turning individual acts of care into collective action, close to home and across the globe.
For Businesses: Discover, Connect, and Take Part
Your business can help nature, animals, and communities thrive in ways that fit your interests, resources, and circumstances.
Join our monthly nonprofit spotlights, explore a cause that matters to you, or get help sharing the story behind your involvement.
Participation, rather than a minimum donation, is the starting point. Sharing an agreed campaign is a meaningful way to help. You can support the featured work without changing your branding or publicly promoting your own involvement.
We welcome businesses that share resources at no financial cost, while prioritizing personalized help for owners ready to take a practical step—whether through sharing, giving, volunteering, or contributing expertise.
Monthly Nonprofit Spotlights
Our monthly nonprofit spotlight is a core NFE service, featuring organizations that have agreed to participate and introducing practical ways to support their work.
One month might explore river protection; another might feature rainforest conservation, coral reefs, wildlife, or community stewardship.
Each month, we aim to introduce one participating nonprofit initiative, with a story and simple resources businesses can use to share its work. These may include:
- Social graphics and suggested captions.
- A printable flyer to display in your business.
- Links to the nonprofit’s official information and opportunities to get involved.
You can share selected features at no financial cost, or explore giving, volunteering, and other forms of support the nonprofit welcomes.
You can also continue supporting an organization you already know while discovering others through NFE. The spotlight rotates; your giving commitments do not have to.
Explore a Cause You Care About
Separately from the monthly spotlights, we help business owners explore causes that matter to them.
Perhaps you care about a local river, animal welfare, forests, or a community on the other side of the world. You may already support an organization, or you may be unsure where to begin.
We can help you:
- Clarify the causes and issues you want to explore.
- Discover relevant nonprofit-led initiatives locally or internationally.
- Identify practical ways to participate.
- Make introductions where there is a suitable opportunity.
- Build on an existing connection or consider a new one.
Your involvement can begin with one conversation or one manageable action.
Optional Storytelling and Content Support
If you want to share the story behind your involvement, we can help you communicate it thoughtfully and accurately—without undertaking a total rebrand.
Depending on your needs and our agreed scope, we can help you:
- Explain why a cause matters to you.
- Describe how your business is participating.
- Refine existing messaging.
- Create social graphics, captions, short stories, and video where appropriate.
- Plan and schedule content through optional ongoing social media support.
Whether you are learning, sharing resources, volunteering, or giving, the story should reflect what you are actually doing. This support is optional, not a requirement for taking part.
Free Resources and Sliding-Scale Services
General monthly spotlight resources are freely available. Personalized business services are offered on a sliding scale, with the scope and contribution agreed in advance to reflect your circumstances and our capacity.
Support for NFE helps sustain our research, storytelling, coordination, and free nonprofit amplification and networking.
Payments or contributions to NFE are separate from donations to featured nonprofits. Financial gifts to a nonprofit go directly through that organization’s official channels.
If cost is a barrier, please reach out—we can explore what is possible together.
Let’s Connect
Tell us about your business, what matters to you, and how you would like to participate—through the monthly spotlights, a cause of your own choosing, or optional storytelling support.

Network for Ecology helps people discover nonprofit-led efforts that protect nature, care for animals, and strengthen communities.
We amplify nonprofit messages, share stories and campaigns, and make relevant connections with interested people and businesses—without charging nonprofits for that amplification or networking.
How We Help
- Introduce your organization and help people understand its work.
- Share campaigns and bring attention to meaningful initiatives.
- Amplify your message through NFE’s stories, educational resources, and social channels.
- Connect you with people, businesses, and community organizations interested in your mission.
- Highlight ways to get involved, directing people to your official information and participation opportunities.
Participate in a Monthly Spotlight
Our monthly spotlights feature nonprofits that have agreed to participate.
Together, we can identify a story, campaign, or initiative to introduce, along with official information and practical ways people can help.
Participating businesses can choose to share the feature, display a flyer, or explore opportunities to support your work. A spotlight creates an opportunity for awareness and connection; it does not guarantee donations or a particular response.
We agree on the scope and timing of each feature together, based on fit and capacity. Additional content or ongoing support can be discussed separately.
