They Work to Make Nature Your Neighbor
The West Creek Conservancy has been hard at work protecting land, rivers and streams and many other “wild places” throughout Northeast, Ohio since the late 1990s.
They specialize in reclaiming vacant and other degraded lands by meticulously restoring streams, forest, wetlands, and many other sensitive wildlife habitats.
They act as true stewards of Ohio’s land and natural heritage.
The Mission of West Creek
The organization’s mission is to enhance the lives of people and families throughout the Greater Cleveland area by working to conserve and preserve natural habitats and reinvigorate the priceless ecological value of urban and suburban ecosystems while expanding community opportunities to experience wild nature.
They have a remarkable portfolio and because of this, they are a nationally credited land conservancy which reflects their transparency and commitment to the environment and the citizens and families that call Ohio home.
Hi highly admire and respect their team because of their core values which are to; preserve, protect, and restore their local land base.
Here’s a link to their gallery of restoration projects.
They make it extremely easy and seamless for landowners to protect their land because conserving (even a piece of your land) is the best legacy that a homeowner or landowner can leave behind.
Aside from working passionately with landowners they also collaborate with business, community groups, government municipalities and many other entities to carry out the collective vision of being true stewards of the land.
They also have many different opportunities for volunteers to lend their hands like planting trees and even river cleanups.
